Weekly Notes 19-7-23

U7 Boys

Tralee Parnells Under 7’s hosted our home blitz in Caherslee last Saturday morning with teams from Ardfert and Crotta in attendance. In challenging and wet conditions each and every one of these young hurlers gave it their all with some fine hurling skills on display. The commitment by both players and parents was amazing to see, thank you to all who attended. A special thank you to our youth coaches Shauna, Alannah, Will & Ben for referreeing the games. Congratulations to our players of the week, Brody O’Leary McElligott, Tom Moriarty, Enda Moriarty & Dan Collins and to last weeks player of the week Charlie O’Connor- well done to you all.

U16 Camogie

Well done to our U16 girls last Wednesday evening, who put in another great performance against a physical Ballyduff side. We have continued our unbeaten streak to finish top of the league table!!! The girls should be extremely proud of their performances so far and the progress of the players has been second to none! We will take a break from scheduled training for the week due to U16/U14 County fixtures as well as Club Minor league fixture next Tuesday. It is vital then not to lose momentum and get all players to commit to training in preparation for the Semifinal the first week of September! Very proud of you all keep it going now! Many thanks to all the supporters tonight and special mention to our mascots Alice and Ashling!!

Senior Hurling

Tralee Parnells 3-20 Kilmoyley 0-6

Our Senior hurlers continued their momentum following their win over Causeway with a win away to Kilmoyley last Wednesday in the County Intermediate Hurling Championship quarter final. The lads got off to a flying start scoring 2-5 without reply and extending their lead to 2-13 to 0-3 points at half time.
